Re: Tumblr RSS feeds have stopped working

That being said, I just tried to access these feeds using regular `curl`, and they don't seem to be protected -- I can get them without the authentication step. So it looks like there may be a caching problem? Especially if you use the browser in Vienna? You could try unsubscribing, quitting Vienna,...

Re: Tumblr RSS feeds have stopped working

No, it's more complicated than that. Tumblr marks some feeds as "private" (or "adult"; I forget the exact term). In order to access anything from that tumblog, you need to go through an authentication step. Unfortunately, they have implemented it mostly in Javascript, which then ...

Re: Tumblr RSS feeds have stopped working

Hi! There are two problems that might be occurring that I have run into in the past: - possibly, the XML is malformed due to something in the feed - or, you may have run into Tumblr's new system to keep "adult" blogs away from people. If you right click on the feed in Vienna, is there an o...

Issue with multiple attachments

Hi! I would like to listen to the "No such thing as a fish" podcast. A while back, they changed over to "Audioboom" as their host, and since then the RSS feed only seems to show the .jpg of the cover art as the attached file. I finally delved into the XML source, and found that t...

Re: pay for feature

Although I have nothing to do with the development of Vienna, I don't think it is the right tool for this. I think you're looking for something a bit more "scripty", if you'll forgive the term. If you're using Vienna, you have both Perl and Python on your computer. Both of these will have ...

Re: Poll : keyboard

Hi! It's alright if you want to provide an option to disable the non-command-key requiring shortcuts, but please don't remove them. I find them tremendously useful. When dealing with several hundred articles in a short span of time, having to use the command key for each decision (mark read, skip to...

Re: Poll : keyboard

I don't mind if K switches, but it would be nice to allow remapping (although I know this is hard). In my case, I use a different keyboard layout, and have also used Keyboard Maestro, so that I have four keys next to each other that I can use to mark all read and go to the next folder, mark the curr...

Re: Who know this?

I've been using 2.6 for a year or two? I haven't had any problems. I haven't updated to OS X 10.8, nor have I updated to Vienna 2.8, so I can't speak to that, but 2.6(.0.2601) has been very stable for me.

Change in behavior of return

Hi! In Vienna 2.5, if I pressed return to open an article in Safari, it did not mark the message as read. In Vienna 2.6, it does mark the message as read. Is there a way to return to the 2.5 behavior?

Thanks,
Ricky

Re: Colone text size

If you go to Preferences and choose the Appearance tab, you will see a place to change the font size.

I'm not sure why the font sizes got all out of whack in the upgrade, but it's an easy fix.

Re: Display notifications on multiple monitors?

So, I've been looking at the source code for Growl. It looks like this ability to display on different screens isn't a feature of growl as much as it is a feature of the display style. I freely admit that I'm no wizard at Cocoa programming (or any programming, for that matter), but could the style c...

Re: Display notifications on multiple monitors?

Hi! I'm not sure how this would be a potentially bad feature? Currently, you can specify what monitor should receive the notifications per style; would it not be possible to add to the bottom of this menu the option "all" or something similar?

Ok. Is there a possibility to add this as a feature request?

Display notifications on multiple monitors?

Hi! Is there any way to have notifications displayed on all (both) of the monitors attached? I tend to miss notifications if I'm not looking at the monitor they appear on, but I switch back and forth often, so I can't just have notifications show up always on one monitor and have it work...
