Yup, use Window > Activity. Then scroll through the list to find something that looks like a video file (the size usually gives it away). Option-double click it to download the file. I am no developer, but if you have Lion, then this is probably http://trac.perian.org/ticket/606 ?

You should still be able to play them in QT7. Or in QTX or iTunes if you set them to 32-bit bit and only if the files don't have subtitle tracks.
