It appears my problem is solved - or perhaps it never existed! I can now see my .htaccess file in Cyberduck. It may well be that the reason I couldn't see it before was because it had been inadvertantly moved or removed.
So please don't worry any more! : )

Re: How do I view .files?
It seems Irflew never had his problem solved, and I have the same problem. I note that several people have had tickets for the same problem, and I have found on the web a number of forums where people have the same issue. It would be good if a definitive answer could be given and put in FAQ or somet...

Mea culpa (I'm sorry)
Sorry, but it was my fault all along. I was copying in my web address instead of the ftp address - they are both the same except I had the www in there as well as the ftp. I can't believe I missed it, and went searching for a whole lot of other matters. So it was totally my carelessness, and now Cyb...

Me too
I have just downloaded Cyberduck, and like jdonais and others on this and other forums, I have only been able to get it to connect to my server once. 1. When I try a new connection now, it sits for a long time then returns the error "IO Error: Hostname cannot be resolved". I have tried the remedies ...
