Re: Hardware Growler Airport icon missing?

your url doesn't seem to load here, but i have looked at both 1.1.6 and current source for HardwareGrowler and both behave the same. That is to say they both display icons for Airport and Ethernet. Did you remove or otherwise rename Airport Utility.app?

Re: What do I have to do to get ready for Snow Leopard?

Peter is working on some unknown bugs relating to GrowlSafari. Which as far as i know is the only thing holding up 1.2b1 of Growl from being posted.

This is already fixed in 1.2, which is pending beta release by Peter as soon as he finishes a few remaining issues with GrowlSafari.

I believe that evan came up with a solution for this usage case. Instead of using @loader_path and linking the frameworks, plugin authors should manually get a NSBundle reference to their bundle and [bundle load] that bundle. A example Carbon implementation for plugins is the GrowlTunesPlugin (which...

If you can post a screen shot of what it looks like we can see if it would fit well with growl.

you're not going to want to do that. if anything you would write this as a 'display' plugin.

no, but 0.7.5 and 0.7.6 were minor updates that 'fixed' things that should never have been shipped.

this patch isn't against trunk, there aren't going to be any more updates to the 0.7 series. trunk is sufficiently different from 0.7 that this patch doesn't build tcl bindings.

can you paste the crashreport for the latest crash? the last entry you gave doesn't give any indication of where the crash actually occured.

your Info.plist is the plist that is being queried for your app name, icon, its location on disk, and the various other bits of information that growl needs to be able to get your app registration. You should make sure that you have the correct information set in your Xcode project.

neither Brushed nor Bezel are GrowlStyles. GrowlStyles are strictly WebKit based growl displays. Brushed and Bezel are both growlViews, which are Objective-C based. they can be found in the subversion repository at http://src.growl.info/growl/trunk/ i would recommend building the growlView using cur...

GrowlTunesPlugin, which is coming with Growl 1.1, has a global hotkey to display the track info. we decided to stop developing the stand alone app and built an iTunes plugin that does the same stuff.

GrowlTunesPlugin isn't directly tied to the iTunes enabled plugin checkmark. so you can continue to use other iTunes plugins at the same time as growltunes. in the realm of customizing the content of the notification, currently GTP doesn't support custom ordering of the tags, but it does have a chec...
