Who is running 89.1 vs the 1.0 SVN?

Postby furqan8421 » Thu Apr 20, 2006 1:37 am

I'm currently running the latest stable version. Was just wondering what most people are currently using on their systems

I'm running 0.89.1. SVN is too risky for my tastes, and I couldn't run it even if I wanted to because Adium can only be compiled on Tiger. I have 10.3.9 and am waiting for Leopard.

Using in-development experimental software is a choice, usually a necessity, and not a race.

Obviously we can all figure out what I'm running :)

1.0 SVN. Have been for just over a year now, in fact. I'm one of the crazies who makes you update a couple times a day.

The voices, that is. I'm a voice.

A command voice.

I switched over to 1.0svn when joscar was merged into trunk. I'm pretty happy with my decision. Helped me get back in the swing of development.

Edit: Evan, your location still says Nashville? I'm surprised :P

last stable version here.
I don't get the ppl who update several times a day. compiling on my computer took several hours for previous versions. And it made using the computer nearly impossible...

Anyway, everytime I hear something about 1.0 it gets better and better.
Will you devs calculate the release date, or release the second it's ready (for example releasing 1 month before some software-awards, to be "in the center of attention")

SVN here. IRC plugin ftw

I update infrequently. When it comes to SVN, if it's relatively stable, I don't bother updating it until I hear about some fun new feature.
