I recently upgraded from Vienna 2.6.0 to 3.0.2. My system is Mac OS 10.7.5 (Lion).
The preference panels are not being populated with current settings on launch. That is, after I first launch Vienna, the preference window is full of the sort of dumb default settings you might put in the .nib file. As I change settings, it continues to display the changes for the current session, but they go away when I quit Vienna.
The actual preference settings seem to be saved correctly. I can open the preference file "uk.co.opencommunity.vienna2.plist"
with a text editor, and see that my changed settings have been saved, and the saved behavior seems to apply the next time I launch Vienna. I just can't see what the current settings are in the preference panels.
Deleting the old preferences file doesn't help.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
James
[addendum]
The problem was fixed in the next release of Vienna. The release notes said it was only a problem for those running older systems.
To whoever fixed this, many thanks!
James
