Feature Request - Disable Notification when App Running

Postby milesh » Mon Aug 17, 2009 12:07 am

Would be terrific if there were a setting to have Growl not post ANY notifications if chosen programmes were running (I'm generally thinking of Quicktime Player, VLC, etc.). I'm not a programmer, but wouldn't have thought it would be too difficult to code, if there was general interest.

We're not going to do that, for two reasons:

  1. Not all displays are visual.
  2. Those applications, and pretty much any others that the user might add to such a list, are not necessarily running full-screen.

We're much more likely to do this.
