Hello,
I have a problem with "growlhelperapp not responding" in Activity Monitor at startup (computer startup). It last for 2 or 3 minutes then everything is fine. The problem is that during this 2 or 3 minutes safari and firefox can't start. When I try to start them, there process in the activity monitor just go in "not responding" mode and nothing happens. When growlhelperapp become "responsive" again, suddenly safari and firefox finish their startup. This leads to me having to wait 3 additional minutes before being able to open a web page after starting my computer, which is quite annoying.
So, my question is: what is growlhelperapp doing on startup that takes him 3 minutes? No high CPU activity, no high disk activity, so it seems it is waiting for something. Has anybody any clue about this?

Please take a sample of GrowlHelperApp while it is hung, then post that sample here. You'll use Activity Monitor's Sample Process command, which is in the menus and which you can add to the toolbar.
