msn nickname on adium wouldnt change.

hi, i cant remember since when, but my msn nickname cannot be changed for quite awhile already. it seems to stick to this one name which is my first name on Windows Live account. so one day, i thought maybe i should change my name in that account. so i went to change (through hotmail), and ever since, my nickname is now stuck with the new one!! i tried changing back to my first name, and it doesnt seem to be working!!

someone please help!!
