Hi: I searched but could not find this particular issue; it's probably obvious but I'm new to growl so I beg your indulgence and assistance.
I had to downgrade from 1.1.2 and reinstall 0.7.6 because the short time I used the earlier version seemed to work better for me than my impulse to upgrade to the newer version (and add some of those extra addons) but that version totally confounded me and seemed not to do what had previously been working mostly just fine -- shoulda known not to tempt success. (i would guess everything was mostly on default originally, and I don't think I had added any of the extras originally.) Anyway...
Problem #1: when I first used 0.7.6 the bubbles allowed me to close them by clicking the X that appeared in a small black circle in the top left hand corner of each bubble when I moved the mouse over each one. Now there is no encircled X appearing when I move the mouse over each bubble; in fact if I click on a bubble, and if it's a gmail notice, it opens each one in a safari tab or window.
So, My most pressing #1 issue/request is: how do I get that encircled top left corner X feature back so I can close each notice immediately instead of waiting until they disappear. And that' s the second issue: sometimes they don't go away, some do and some don't. I don't know how to fix that either.
The third issue, which may be unrelated is that many google/gmail/calendar notifications seem to be 'late' or 'repeats/duplicates' of events already passed and emails already received and previously notified about.
Again, my review of the documentation and searches of the forum did not reveal the answers to me -- or if they did, I did not recognize them as answers to my dilemmas.
Thank you for your assistance on any of these, with #1 being the priority.
