Synchronization with bloglines

I think this is the only feature holding me from using Vienna as my main news reader. What do you think? Possible?

I did some initial work on this in 2.0 but it didn't make the cut. If you were to look at the source code, you'd seem evidence of this that I left behind with the expectation of finishing this later.

So, yes, it's possible. I suspect I'll try and find a way to engineer this into the sync engine being planned for 2.1.

So I guess it is not as easy as the bloglines guys say it is to use their API.

Anyway, thanks for trying. I hope you can find the time and energy to complete this.

It's not the API that is the challenge - it is fairly simple and straightforward (and also slightly limited for some things). The challenge is designing a good user experience around the integration such as how to handle Bloglines subscriptions that you aren't subscribed to on the Vienna side, what to do when you refresh a subscription that was in your Vienna database and also now on Bloglines, but Bloglines is out of sync, etc. Sometime I'll sit down and design this properly but it just wasn't a significant enough factor for 2.0.
