Oh yeah, ONE more thing.
Adium used to work fine on my old router, but I got a new one that I guess doesn't cooperate well with this computer, even though every other internet based application works fine.
Are there any settings I can tweak to work on this?

I should probably mention this. It works fine at my friends house (on the same laptop/account/etc.). The router I have is not even plugged into a computer so it's not a security thing. Every time I log on Adium using AIM (I don't use anything else), my buddy list is empty. I figured it just disappeared, but then I went to view>show offline buddies, and it showed every one of my buddies as offline. I tried it on iChat, and it did the same thing.
