Contacts imported from adr book dont always use adr book pic

Hi there! I've been a long time adium user, but i've only recently started integrating it with my OS X address book. I've noticed that while for the most part, this integration is awesome, i've found a couple inconsistencies. 1) Sometimes it won't grab the address book pic for my contact, reverting ...

Haha that's funny. I always stay current w/ the SVN build, but I don't drop by the forums too often. Figured I would to see if anyone else was having the rate limiting issue. Looks like it...

Bug w/ Smilies in Adium

When I have multiple packs of smilies, if I uncheck and check the boxes to use them and move them around, Adium crashes. This is reproducible every time. Let me know what more info I can give to help get rid of the bug.

My experience w/ SVN...

So I'm at build 10134. I'm on an iBook G4 1.25ghz w/ 768mb RAM with all the most recent oS X updates on 10.3.8. I checked out a brand new build of Adium and recompiled it. I deleted the Adium 2.0 folder out of my Application Support folder. So i'm starting fresh. I start Adium and it starts just fin...

Hmmm took a look at that, but that really seems to only set password stuff for websites and login names, not for overall system control

At the same time.. I read that email, and don't see an issue in it either.

Example of why it's nice to have such great Adium developers

Now I've donated to Adium in the past... and I'll probably donate in the future... I donate because I really support this great piece of software and its constant improvement. Adium is not completely unique in that there are other pieces of software out there that i also support the development of. ...

Okay so thanks for the reply... so maybe this is the wrong place to ask technical questions like this, but... why won't adding the command line options for G4/G5 optimization make it any faster? Is it because Adium is already so low on CPU usage in the first place? Would this make it less? Sorry to ...

Yeah I liked it a lot too . There was just something nice about having everything right there centralized... How Adium is now is fine too. It's more like AIM. Having everything in one window made it more unique. I see all the pros to a dual window design, and I don't have any solid arguments against...

Yah i was just looking for the -7450 command line arguments when compiling from source. Obviously AdiumX is pretty snappy on my system, but if there are optimizations to be made, I don't see the harm. My G4 optimized Firefox build is much faster than the standard one. But if you say it is not any fa...

Importing Adium from my old computer...

I wanted to transfer all of my old settings from adium to my new computer so I downloaded adium and copied a bunch of stuff from the library directory on my computer to the new one... The only problem is that on my old computer I had a different keychain password than on my new one. When updating al...

If it means anything... the everything-in-one view is what brought me to Adium. I stayed with Adium because it is by far the best AIM client for OS X... that being said, I kinda wish that feature stuck around.

G4/G5 Optimized Adium build?

I know SVN shouldn't be discussed here... but to be fair, this applies to ALL builds of Adium. So once the Mac community really got a hold of the Firefox source code, G4 and G5 optimized builds surfaced... I feel like there are a few compiler extensions to produce this? Correct? Is it possible to do...
