ok - so I found that if I delete the contact from my list, and then add them again, they are asked to 'accept' or 'deny' - and when they 'accept,' they become visible. the weird thing is that these people were added to my list in the first place because they added me, and *I* was asked to 'accept' o...

A good half my contacts appear greyed out, or "offline," even though these people are online, and can contact me. Any idea of how to fix this?
