Re: Mail 4 diables Growl 1.2B3
Nope, there will be a new release of GrowlMail when 10.6.2 ships. At this point 10.6.2 has not shipped and is still under NDA which prevents us from doing anything publicly.

Re: GrowlTunes now includes a track number in its notifications
In addition to the tokens that define the various tags (artist, album, track number, etc) you can also type whatever text you'd like. so ultimately the text for a title could be: (<<tracknumber>>). <<trackName>> by <<artistName>> with a body of: <<album>> <<year>> (<<rating>>)

you can follow http://twitter.com/growlmac for updates on progress.
currently password hashing algorithms all work, encryption does not. GNTP is slated for 1.3's major feature.

the ability to customize what gets displayed is slated for the GrowlTunesPlugin extra (its an iTunes plugin), should ship with 1.3 or 1.4.

This specifically would mean that G-WI was built with x86_64 arch's Mac OS X Deployment OS set to 10.6, I'll file it as a bug when i get home.

sounds like a bug in FIleSync or something unique to your configuration. There are no symlinks in Growl.prefPane.

Re: GrowlSafari now in /Application
=> this is exactly the opposite way from GrowSafari changing from Safari plugin to external application. GrowlSafari was never a Safari plugin. iTunes provides a plugin api that allows us to be loaded on launch, Safari does not. Safari only provides a plugin API in the context of handlers for web p...

Re: Notifications for iPhone sync: HardwareGrowler or GrowlTunes
The intention is to replace GrowlTunes with an iTunes plugin that does the same functionality as GrowlTunes.app but from a plugin, and with more functionality (iPhone sync start/completion, possibly download completion) I wrote the original implementation back in 2005 as an example of how to use the...

Re: Notifications for iPhone sync: HardwareGrowler or GrowlTunes
It would be neither HardwareGrowler nor GrowlTunes.
In order to acquire the start and stop sync signals this would have to be done in the as yet unfinished GrowlTunesPlugin iTunes plugin. That is to say that it is possible to do, I will file it as an enhancement request against GrowlTunesPlugin.

Re: MailMe message blank in Growl 1.2b4
do you have mail rules setup to move these messages to another mailbox?
that is the only time i've ever seen the body blank, when another machine was filtering my mail, i'd get the growl notification and the mail message was getting moved out from under GrowlMail.

export MallocStackLogging=1 && ~/Library/PreferencePanes/Growl.prefPane/Contents/Resources/GrowlHelperApp.app/Contents/MacOS/GrowlHelperApp
let a bunch of notifications fly and run the leaks command again.

I've been using the Growl 1.2 and the source that became 1.2 for a few months now. I personally have had no issues with it. The betas will not upgrade from one version to the next, nor will they automatically update. When 1.2 is released you might get an update notification, that code is quite ancie...

We've known for awhile, its already fixed. you can either wait for 1.2b3 or edit the plist inside the bundle yourself.

The framework will be usable by developers still targeting 10.4. The Growl.prefPane, GrowlHelperApp and all of the Extras will not, they will only function on 10.5+.

it was not intentional and has already been fixed in the code repository, you will have to wait for 1.2b1 to ship.
