Re: Parts of the website not working
I found a DMG of 1.5.11b2 which is what I think I was using before I got my laptop with Yosemite. If you happen to read this a few months on, I found you can download it from cachefly by intelligently guessing the URL based off the pattern from the 1.5.10.3b1 release: https://adiumx.cachefly.net/Adi...

Re: Sounds not working
Do you have any statuses (away/available, etc) that might be set to "Mute Sounds"?

Re: Computer randomly un-idles
I've noticed this too. The monitor will come on to the lowest brightness setting regardless of whether it turned off by itself or if I turned it off with the keyboard. Why do you think it is adium, though? (I have several apps running, so being able to narrow it down to one culprit would be useful)

Feature Request - Extended Offline
I'm a bit of a hoarder, I admit, but it would be neat to have another "offline" group for people who have not signed in for some extended period of time. I'm not really particular about a cut-off; I guess 6 months would be reasonable (my record looks to be ~200 weeks, or about four years, ...

minor bug in minimal mod
I know we had a nice dialogue going when 1.4 was in beta, but I've recently noticed an odd occurrence that seems to happen when 1)you are typing a "new" message, that is the only message since the last dotted divider 2) the message is an action (/me) This is fairly reproducible, at least i...

Re: [MSN incoming msgs dropped]
I've had problems with people not being able to send me MSN messages both in b19 and b18.

Re: Message style feedback
I ran into another case of illegibility I hadn't thought about before:

Re: Message style feedback
The "new unfocused message" highlighting is illegible [and not really a good default. I have no interest in it myself] in minimal_mod. It wrecks havoc with OSX's text smoothing especially in certain fonts. The muted old conversation colors looked buggy at first, and only greying out self-m...

Re: Font size in 1.4b19
This was the first thing I noticed when I downloaded b19. The font size can be changed via Messages: Text Display, but the size displayed seems to be 1pt smaller than the size set. For example, when my font is set to Arial Narrow 12 pt, and my contact is set to Arial 10 pt, as I use the "minimu...

Re: How do you do this with Adium?
Seconding the OP's problem with only "Contact becomes idle" action available. This summer, I added some "Contact signs on" actions for several contacts, and these are still saved, but the only other options are a list of about 15 "Contact becomes idle" choices. Other co...

Combined Contacts Status Priority
Apparently the priority for the colored backgrounds for grouped contacts is Offline highest, which makes it seem that on-line contacts are actually offline because they aren't signed in on on account (out of two or perhaps five). It ought to either have on-line or away as the priority group for colo...

Re: I miss the drawer
That we do want it is more important than why we want it. (fewer clicks when working between different servers is my reason) When you don't deliver a product that does what your userbase wants, then they don't use it, so there are probably more than just me and jabohn still using 2.8.5 :) (although ...

Re: 1MB - is it MegaBIT or MegaBYTE
Usually a capital B means byte, and if they're both capitalized almost definitely definitely byte unless someone doesn't know what they're talking about:)
when I just uploaded it was definitely KB = kilobyte, so I think it's safe to say MB = megabyte.

Re: Won't Overwrite on Upload
Also, even if I delete a file, it won't save it from textwrangler anyways. This happened just now: 1) opened a file to edit in text wrangler 2) pre-emptively deleted the previous version to circumvent fake overwriting bug 3) saved in text wrangler 4) Growl pops up with 'Upload complete!' 5) Close te...

Won't Overwrite on Upload
I haven't been able to overwrite files for a while now (since updating to v3). If I want a file updated, I have to delete the original version first. This is very annoying when I'm editing in TextWrangler and want to just have to cmd+s to upload something. This happens with files that the server kno...

*registering because while it's ugly as poop, she misses the drawer*
not all of us use leopard and still cling tight to our drawers (both pixel and panty), can it at least be an option? :}
