OK, I've managed to finally get it working. According to ticket #10539 linked to by Robbie earlier in the thread, the problem had something to do with cookies in Safari. Once I enabled cookies in Safari and logged into Facebook through there, Adium now connects and works!

I am having the exact same problem. Facebook has never worked for me, and I keep getting a prompt to enter my password, even though it's correct. I've tried deleting the Adium folder in Application Support and the file in Preferences to no avail. However, when I try it on a different user account on...
