Haven't touched the font palette!

Restarting it has no effect either :-(

Well that's just weird isn't it.

Now I won't be surprised if it works tomorrow morning, but I am going to be mightily confused.

I just got 0.84 final (upgrade for RC1) and switching tabs in a message window using Cmd-number doesn't work anymore, it just emits the standard system complaining noise. Cmd-arrow works as it should, but I really miss the numbers now as I'm ingrained in using them.

Is this deliberate?

I believe MSN 7 is capable of handling custom emoticons - it appears to transmit them to the client at the other end when you use them, or maybe it registers them through the server. I'm not sure exactly how it works, but it's clearly quite a different mechanism to the traditional system.

Because Microsoft have neglected MSN Messenger for Mac for a long time. The brand new version 5.00 might support it, but I wouldn't bank on it. There would appear to be no real reason why you couldn't implement it though - it has to be carried in the protocol for it to work on Windows, and Microsoft...

Oh great, now it's suddenly using the right icon. Very odd. There's still the thing about the crop/zoom issue with the picture coming from Address Book though.

I've had some weirdness with buddy icons not always appearing for MSN contacts, but I won't go into that right now because the bug I'm definitely seeing now is to do with using icons from the address book. I had Adium (this is with 0.80) set up to use icons from the address book if there was no budd...
