Thanks Robby, that was a help - now I can applescript a push button response, but I still cant set up an Event Handler for a specific chat window. Hopefully someone else will see this post!

I'd love to be able to have Adium respond to certain (regex'd?) phrases that come in to me from certain users. I can't find any examples of this sort of Applescripting. Can anyone point me at something I have missed, or point me at the right part of the Adium documentation that could get me started ...
