OK I went to ~/Library/Quicktime for each user and cleared Perian out of there. Now the only Library/Quicktime folder it is in is at the root. "Installed twice" no longer shows. (Man ---- I gotta work on my communication skills --- this has been like one of those go-there-for-the-next-clue...

OK --- 1. I looked at the root and the users --- root is the only place that has the preference pane. 2. Clicking "correct Installation" did nothing (Ver 1.1.3) Soooooo ---- I ask the same two questions again because I still have the "Perian is Installed Twice" display ---- :?

I have that displaying. I did a search and found a (the?) developer used the words --- once sounding like it might be a problem --- another time sounding like it is an OS issue.
