I have exactly the same situation. G5 (2x2.3) Desktop running 10.4.2 -Adium crashes repeatedly, often when I'm not even using Adium. i have a dual g5 running 10.4.2 and a 17 inch powerbook (g4, obviously).. everything is the same between the two machines.. except for one thing: i can't run adium on the g5 for whatever reason it crashes 5 times a day. same prefs/version/etc. the g4 is fine the g5 crashes the hell out of it.. weir...
