That was WAY too simple...so it was the auto install process that was failing.

When I attempt to install Growl, it first says that Growl is already installed (it wasn't). I then attempted to uninstall Growl using the uninstaller, and that seems to work correctly. When I try to reinstall, it says "Growl is already installed". When I go to System Preferences, I see the...
