In the interface you mean? Store locations of previously-visited groups and display them in one of:

• a submenu to "Join Group Chat..."
• a dropdown in the Join Chat dialog
• an entry in the buddy list

When someone signs out of Jabber they are correctly displayed in the main buddy list but they continue to show as present in any chatroom they are in. I have seen this persist even overnight when the chatroom would normally be deleted from the Jabber server. Anyone know a workaround to this?

Definitely a highly-desirable feature for a future release.

Now use Jabber exclusively. I like that it's open source. I like the lack of advertising and I like the flexibility. I think it has tons of potential in education.
