I have this GAIM error on and off, especially at home, while trying to connect to MSN. I traced it to a problem with my wireless router. I have no idea what exactly is the problem, but restarting my router usually worked. The strange thing is MSN Messenger 5.0 can log-in but not Adium.

h i , I am using Adium 0.82 on Mac OS X 10.4.2. I have not been able to connect to the MSN networks. Each time I get a "GAIM Error" which goes on to say "Connection error from Notification server (207.46.4.27): Writing error". What does this mean? I have tried connecting ICQ and ...
