Yes, exactly: it's hard to concentrate on the work while getting all this notifications — skype chats, new mail, somebody typing in icq...

I'm trying to disable as much of them as possible. Well, if somebody is typing message for me, I'll know abouit it anyway

I would also appreciate the "disable all typing notifications" feature. Sometimes people just start typing and never sending messages, and it gets quite disturbing
