Ok. I've gotta give up on Adium, love it though I do. I can't tell who I'm IMing anymore until it's too late. I wanna stick with Adium, but I can't. If anyone ever tells me how to fix this, I'll come back.

I really, really, really, really do not want to ditch Adium, but this problem can't be fixed by any means I can think of (including throwing out all preferences files or having people deleted and re-added).

iDid you check to make sure you didnt accidently group contacts as a single user? just control + click and see if the option for seporating the contacts comes up. Its pretty easy to make it accidently happen since if you accidently drag a user on top of another it will try to combine them. It's qui...

A strange thing has started happening where some of my contacts are in groups. Groups is a great feature that Adium offers, but my problem is that I can't take them *out* of these groups. It's a problem because when I receive an IM from one of my contacts, I can't tell who it is that's talking to me...
