Thanks, that did the trick! I'm 99.5% sure that is the default behaviour in Safari.

When I'm viewing an article and click its headline in the viewing pane, then choose "open link in new tab" it automatically takes me to that tab. This forces me to go back to the main page of articles to keep browsing. Instead, I would like to browse through the multiple articles, selectin...
