David, my contacts are organised in different groups, such as friends, family and colleagues, etc. Yes, effectively some of the meta-contacts changed (for the worse) every time I upgraded to a 1.5 version. Then they would change and "heal" when I downgraded to 1.4.4.

I am encountering problems with contacts since updating Adium from 1.4 to various versions of 1.5. Several contacts - all on MSN and sharing the same office - have merged and became one single contact. As a result, often I thought I was massaging Contact A when in fact I was sending massages wrongly...
