Adium won't have to worry about choosing that. We have plans with Growl to make sure that it's simple. All Adium would need is to continue to use their current implementation and if it happens to be 10.8, then the framework will handle things. At least that's the current plan.

If we're asking for samples, give them to us. Don't assume we have the same file(s) you have with the same problem(s)
