Ok, heres what I'm doing: 1. Open preferences (apple + , ) 2. Go to accounts, select an aim, press edit 3. click the personal tab. 4. Open the character palette. Find the heart (misc. symbols). 5. Pull down the 'font variation' arrow. Select the heart in a font that should be on a windows computer. ...

I chat with mostly windows people, so if i try any special characters, such as the heart (&heart; in html webpages, unicode 2665) they come out funny.

So: is there any way for me to bypass special character filtering and modifying so i can just put in &heart;?

I'm trying to write a script which will return a html encoded link. However, it just returns the html and sends that. I looked in the dictionary and i know i should be using send (in conjunction with message, which allows HTML encoded messages to be sent). However... im not sure how to say 'send to ...
