Does anyone know if it is possible to change the font-size used in the Chat Log Viewer window? I can't find any setting in Preferences etc. I'm not as young and sharp-eyed as I was, and each higher-resolution screen seems to make the text seem smaller. Obviously I can cut/paste the text from the log...

I haven't found a solution to this. I'm just going to Google and setting on the "Allow less secure apps" switch at the beginning of an Adium session, and turning it off at the end.

Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to work for me. Your link leads to an error page where I get the message "The setting you are looking for is not available for your account."

With AIM closing down in December, I'm looking at alternatives. One of the people I need to talk to is not very technical, and we have not had much luck with Jabber, so I'm looking at Google Talk which I know they use, but I'd rather connect to it using Adium. Unfortunately, Google Talk won't let me...

cs101.msg.mud.yahoo.com worked for me with Adium 1.3.4 on OS/X 10.5.7.

My Adium version is Adium X 0.89.1. For future reference, please note that I put this sort of stuff in my sig.

All the accounts and chat contacts where I have observed this have been Yahoo IM users.

I've only started using Adium in the last couple of weeks (I migrated from the Yahoo client :mad: via Fire :???:), and so far so good.
