As I don't have access to a PC, there wasn't much I could do. Even the passport website wouldn't allow me to log in to my account as it requires IE for Windows. So I just created a new "limited" account with a passport.com address and then reset up Adium to use that. So far, it works great...

Just an aside . . . I have never used Windows Live Messenger and I'm having this issue so I don't think that's the culprit. Must just be a batch of hosed accounts or something. If I could figure out how I created the account in the first place, I'd try another. *L*

This happened to me too, starting yesterday. I can connect fine to AIM but not to MSN. However, MSN Messenger doesn't properly connect either. I thought it might have been due to updating to OS X 10.4.8 but even booting under my old drive with a previous OS didn't work. I would have to believe that ...
