it works. I tried two different things so I can and will not recover (as long it's stable) what exactly makes the difference. 1st: I'm using Adium X 1.0 Beta 3 2nd: in router settings trigger (not forward) the TCP port 5190 in combination with the IP of your MAC (in my case 192.168.1.4. check system...

I also have this problem. Adium ver 0.89.1 MacOS 10.4.8 the same seems to occur here and here . in my case I installed an new Netgear wireless router. with my old Linksys wireless router I had no problems. any ideas?! I'm not so into set up any router configurations. perhaps you have any hints... ED...
