Re: Crash after file transfer on MSN
This bug (details) has been open for more than six months - which beggars belief - i.e. given that it's fatal and (can be) frequent.

Re: Can not receive or send offline message
The Pidgin bug report (see my last message) has not been addressed yet and is causing angst amongst others. It's interesting to see that you've always been unable to receive (nor, presumably, send) offline messages. I had the impression it broke only recently but my tests (again see my last message)...

Re: Can not receive or send offline message
Tried to resolve by rolling back to older version - 1.3.5 being the oldest which I could find would run under 10.5.8 on a PPC box - but to no avail. (I deleted the "Adium 2.0" folder in /Library/Application Support before running each version.) I've added a post with a debug log extract to...

Re: Can not receive or send offline message
I would have thought that if LibPurple is a library it's stored in the package which references it - hence older versions of Adium should contain the version of LibPurple which doesn't contain the bug - though as an ex-programmer of an ancient database I can't say I understand how it all hangs toget...

Re: Can not receive or send offline message
I've looked at the "known bug" linked resource and see it relates to Pidgin rather than LibPurple. Perhaps someone could clarify this. Whatever the case I'd appreciate guidance as to how to overcome this issue until the bug's fixed - e.g. by running an earlier version of Adium - though the...

I have a PPC G4 and an Intel Core Duo Mac mini connected via an AirPort network and have been trying this feature with Adium. Although my testing is not complete it seems that having iTunes running on either box - be it at the front or in the background - prevents such messages being displayed. Inde...

Multiple Locations
I have two Mac minis at home - both acting as media centres - and both part of a wireless network with, of course, an Internet connection. Although I use one of these principally as my Adium "station" I want to use both and whilst it's a straight-forward enough case of installing it on eac...
