i asked for msn because some users have plugins which tell when a window is opened and by grabbing display pics it shows the same as if a window was opened
and makes us look like stalkers
could have other benefits too but maybe it can be added as an option if its not too hard?

im using the latest adium beta to chat to yahoo contacts and have some issues and thought id report so adium could be improved 1. contacts couldnt see my pic if i had it set in the general preference i had to go into edit yahoo preferences and set the pic 2. i changed my pic and they said it dissape...

i was wondering if it would be possible some time in the future to have a feature added which can be enabled so that adium does not grab display pictures from contacts unless a conversation window is opened by the contact, their client requests my display pic or if i open a conversation window
