Thanks a lot, that really helped. (I am fairly new to Adium, so sorry for the stupid question.)

I didn't have this problem until I upgraded to 1.0, but now when I receive a message, the dock icon displays a red starburst with the number of messages I've received inside...and I don't like it. I can't find a setting to enable or disable this in the Adium preferences. Does anyone know how to fix ...
