Anybody can help?

I installed this version (renamed my current Adium1.0.3 so I have it as backup) but I do not see any personal messages on my MSN accounts and they do not see my either??

Any special config?

Another update on this topic: 1) The MSN name seems to get lost after a while.. now my contacts see me as nielspeter16 again instead of my preferred displayname.. 2) File transfers do not work when using the jabber service - is that expected? Kind of bad as we use MSn for sending quick work-snippets...

meandcat I use msn.draugr.de.. Had 4-5 disconnects last 1 day.. This evening had 3-4 times I get the "cannot send message - error 404".. Except for above and the nickname issue it is definitely an improvement.. Of course it would be nice if Adium just would support personal messages direct...

meandcat and others, yes I got MSN via jabber to work following the instructions from meandcat. I like I can now see status messages and somehow more of my MSN contact pictures display now than before.. Drawback - its seems slightly less stable - I have used for 1.5 days andI have had 4-5 disconnect...

I'd like to try your suggestion w jabber but not sure how to setup "MSN transport" - can you help?

I just setup Adium to use japer but see no place I can "add MSn transport"..?

thanks m2e. I am curious - is this difficult? Any estimate of when it would be in audium? Some of my contacts use the pers message for communicating workstuff - like "QA5 svr will be updated 12:30"..

Some of my MSN contacts status message is not displayed in Adium. I think (some contacts confirmed this) it is related to people using the MSN live version. They tell me they enter their status message in the edit below their name - I think its called "personal message".. Is there some hid...
