I had the same problem. See...

http://forums.cocoaforge.com/viewtopic. ... ce66ac8939

There doesn't seem to be much interest in fixing this problem, so I've had to change to Fugu:

Hope 2.8.1 comes out soon!

Can't connect - Incorrectly reports server version 2

So, I found out my University *is* using SFTP version 3. For some reason Cyberduck gives the message:

I/O Error: Connection Failed
Server version 2 is currently not supported.

This is new in version 2.8.

I think this is a bug.

What to do about server version 2?

When I try to connect, I get an I/O Error: Connection Failed Server version 2 is currently not supported. I found the ticket: http://trac.cyberduck.ch/ticket/1224 but that doesn't help me :???: . My University help(less)desk says "we just went to SFTP, so I doubt it's changing anytime soon"...

That worked (well, after I removed myself from the buddy list in Adium too).

Thanks!

v1.0 - I see myself in buddy list

Starting with v1.0, I see my Googletalk persona in the buddies list. I'm logged in to AIM, YIM and Gtalk, but only the Gtalk user shows up in the buddy list, where I never saw myself in the list before. I haven't logged in from another computer, and if I try to message myself, I get a Jabber Message...
