Yes, it might not be complete and hasn't been tested at all. There are very few VMS servers around it seems and therefore I didn't get much feedback from other users. You're welcome to finish this implementation and send me the patches needed. I will review them and eventually they will find their w...

Help now in SVN respository

I have moved all help pages to the Subversion repository to make it easier for contributors to find the sources; you can find it all at http://svn.cyberduck.ch/trunk/www/help/

Using

Code: Select all

upload file "/Users/username/Desktop/testfile.rtf" to theUploadFolder
or

Code: Select all

upload file "~/Desktop/testfile.rtf" to theUploadFolder
should make it work.

1. Please always review the suggested synchronisation carefully; it is known not to be reliable because of timezone issues and many servers not supporting setting the timestamp on uploaded files.

2. Use binary transfer mode for all files.

Re: AppleScript won't upload file

Does it delete the file or not?

ich denke, englisch genügt volkommen :) denn das is die internationalste sprache english: i think english is by far enough :) after all it's the most international language Well, by numbers more people speak Hindi or Chinese I guess. That still isn't a argument to publish the help pages in Chinese ...

As you can see on http://cyberduck.ch/help/en/ the help is localizable (but has only been translated to catalan so far).

If you want to contribute a translated help for any language, you can just download the english pages, translate them and send them back to feedback@cyberduck.ch.

This website is served by Apache Httpd. Check the setting named DirectoryIndex (lookup in the apache httpd manual or ask your server administrator if you aren't yourself.)

This is a wild guess but if the foldername is ending with a whitespace ('foldername ') then Cyberduck will not parse it correctly and send 'foldername' to the server instead.

The log drawer is no more included because of its slow performance when logging large directory listings and numerous crashes it caused. Better performance and stability outweighted the feature. If you still want to see the transcript you can use Console.app and lower the logging level in cyberduck ...

For some reason the host key verification fails (not when using openssh but with Cyberduck). I don't have any solution currently; the failure is in the RSA signature verification code (ironically also by sun microsystems) I don't have access to. You can try Fugu instead which uses OpenSSH.
