Glad my inability to understand simple menu items could help!

It was obvious once you pointed it out, but I had no connection with the grey paw icon and hidden notifications. I think the menu bar option is something you could lose. If an app has the option, I usually enable it to see what it gives me, but with Growl it's so minimal I won't be using it. I guess...

Well that was easy! Thanks so much, it was driving me mad.

Installed this evening, says it's running, but the menu bar "paw" icon is grey and notifications aren't happening for any app.
I've also uninstalled, restarted, reinstalled and the same thing happens.

Thoughts?
