How is it that file-transferring with iChat 'just works'? Is this a consequence of using the 'real' AIM protocol vs. the public AIM protocol that gAIM uses? When using iChat, everything is fine. When using Adium, file transfers don't get past the invitation. [And no, I haven't touched network/router...

I've noticed that if I set my status message to something 'long', others won't see a status message for me at all. I was just wondering what exactly the limit is. A hundred characters or so? [This is with AOL IM and Rendezvous, I'm less concerned about the other protocols.]

I'm currently running r9954, but I've updated a few times today, and several of the builds have had this problem. Quitting/relaunching Adium resets the Contact List preferences back to its defaults. Just updated to r9958. The problem still exists. Anyone else seeing this? I guess I should clarify. T...
