but the adium i had before only showed display names. does this have to do with 1.0.3?

that doesn't fix it.

I recently downloaded Adium again and now the emails of the msn contacts appears on the contact list instead of their nick/alias. I've tried all settings/preferences. The closest I got was to dispaly the alias as 'status' under the email addy. Any idea how to fix this? I just want alias display.
