It was labelled 2.0 way back when it was going to be Adium 2.0 and not X. Why it wasn't changed to Adium X, I'm not really sure. Perhaps Adium had already snagged enough of a user base to make it so much that devs didn't want to hear the OMFGWHEREAREMYPREFERENCESYOUBASTARDS complaints. It is Adium 2...

Er, I can see the advantages of HTML logging, but why not at least give the users the option of choosing text logging? I'm sure some of us just want plain logs that we can search and read quickly with BBEdit. Because its not easy to incorporate the file format given all of Adium's features (with pl...

Re: What's so horrible about this?
Even if that Pentium 4 is slower... If you liquid cooled the sucker, threw two of them in there, and then pushed them to their max... Well, think about it. How low would you have to clock a G5 to run it without it's liquid cooling? And I mean, run it without crashing every few hours from heat? To b...

In the AOLIM client, there are multiple windows, and no way to combine them, so hiding messages while you're gone makes sense. Less clutter. However, in Adium, since most people keep all of their messages in a single window, this feature isn't quite as urgent. This, however, is NOT what the original...

Yep. Plugins that are PPC only will not be able to load into a x86 app. Both the app and the plugins/bundles/frameworks it loads, should be either PPC or x86. You can't mix the two 'cause a PPC app (and all it's plugins) will be loaded within Rosetta and a x86 app will run natively. Therefor, you o...

They completely compiled new code that was x86 specific. For compiling a program in universal binary, you just need to check a box in XCode and when you compile the code, it'll be able to run on both processors. No. If you watch the keynote, some Cocoa apps will need minor tweaks in addition to the...

I'm assuming that for a good long time Adium will be compiled as a universal binary. At least I hope. I plan on still buying an iBook as I need a computer for college this autumn and will not wait to get an Intel-based Apple computer until I am out of college. Not that it should be hard to do a uni...

I'm not sure if this is your bug trac, but:
http://trac.adiumx.com/ticket/211
If this is your trac, then wait patiently until its fixed. The devs will do it when they do it and the progress will be posted on that ticket and not on the forums.
