This may have been fixed by Adam on his computer, which will make its way into a future release of Adium.

Gradients on a per-contact basis required a ridiculous amount of computing power, I believe. A true developer can correct me on this if I'm wrong.

The current implementation of Mute While Away is simply a small hack to get users who missed the feature to not complain heavily when .8 was released. Future implementations will be more smooth and more accessible

It's true for iChat and AOLIM as well. AIM is just acting up for some of us. There is a thread http://forums.cocoaforge.com/viewtopic.php?t=2933 about it so we're going to go with that, and I'm gonna lock this one up.

Has been mentioned many times, and was, at least before 10.3.9 and 10.4 came out, a limitation of WebKit, which powers both Safari and Adium's message views.

However, now that Dashboard is out, I'm no longer positive to whether or not it supports it, so I won't immediately lock this thread. Anyone?

The bold thing was removed because when someone wants to emphasize a point they should be allowed to. Stripping this formatting actually changes the meaning of the IM, and that should not be allowed. I'm not sure if it would be possible to detect a whole string using bold, and disable formatting onl...
