AIM profiles don't work in 1.0svn trunk. They do work in 1.0svn-joscar. MSN profiles don't work in 0.89 due to protocol level changes. They do work in 1.0svn. Not only planned, but already implemented and present in Adium 0.89. If you have multiple emoticon packs enabled, and one is appropriate for the protocol, it wil be preferred.
