I'd like this feature, too. I don't want Adium to automatically set me "away" after a certain period of time... say I'm at my desk, but reading documentation. I would like it to set me "away" if I lock my screen, which I do when I'm leaving my desk.

Curious if the developers want bug reports about the subversion versions... not to say it should be bug-free, but rather to point out bugs they may not have found, yet.
