Curiosity peaked, I looked at the description for said package and I think I found out why this is salient:

"This package is provided for compatibility with shell scripts and makefiles that require access to the developer tools in specific system locations."

Adium is a pretty massive program to start cutting your programming teeth on. :) I'd recommend starting with some sample projects to get a feeling for how Cocoa, Xcode, and the entire Mac OS X developer stack work.

Not what I meant. I meant /Developer/SDKs/ (does it contain the appropriate SDKs as required by Adium) and the SDK path setting for the targets in Adium that you are looking to build.

- Is this for all notifications or notifications from a particular application?
- Have you set a global position in the General tab?
- Have you set any application specific positions (via the Applications tab)?

Check your SDK paths and installation to make sure you have everything, if Cocoa can't be found the SDK isn't being appropriately located.

Got the same problem after upgrading to Leopard. Can't be bother to fiddle around with Terminal.....can we expect a new update of Adium soon? If you can't be bothered to use a temporary solution, it must not be that much of a problem for you. Thus you likely have the patience to wait for an update ...

I am compiling Growl-WithInstaller.framework, course. The solution is to compile it with GC on, then copy the non-GC Growl.prefPane.zip into Growl-WithInstaller.framework/Versions/A/Resources. It works!!!!! No of course ;) but glad to hear it works. Updated framework variants are on my schedule, bu...

All of Growl shouldn't be garbage-collected. System Preferences wouldn't be a likely GC candidate because then all preference panes would have to be GC (it's not mix and match opt-in.) Only the framework itself should be recompiled, and really you should wait until we provide a GC variant of the fra...

This thread has spiraled out of hand stupidly, either wait patiently for an announcement from the Growl team later today or the thread gets l...

I just used Mac OS X's dictionary and it came up with nothing. Odd.

That dialog sounds scary. It really needs to be non-technical and clearer. (Combined/Consolidated contacts sounds much cleaner and less techie to me) Unconsolidate isn't a word, is it?

Well, Chris (The_Tick) is the project manager and I'm currently the lead developer. I think that qualifies as yes, we read the forums regularly.
