I just wondered 'cause I read about the custom emoticons and that it wasn't a high priority to implent it since only MSN uses them. I figured if like 50% or higher of the Adium users used MSN, custom emoticons would get a higher priority.

Well, is it MSN, AIM, ICQ, or...? Any statistics or numbers on this?

When I get this error I get it exactly 1 minute after my message and no, they don't get my message. What 'causes it (4 of 5 times) in my case is that the internet connection is down.

Maybe the other computer(s) doesn't have the Verdana font?

Maybe you could login to hotmail/msn website and delete them form there? Don't know if it works for non-@hotmail.com accounts

If you can setup a direct connection you can get their ip. Theoretically. I haven't managed to setup a direct connection with anyone so I only get the servers ip...
