The_Tick - Liquid_Ic on #awkwardtv has found an app called QuartzComposerPlayer that is able to force it's level in front of the ATV interface. Luckily the source is provided, so the mechanics for creating an screen for growl to draw to might be a possibility. http://trac.softwarelivre.sapo.pt/broke...

working on this atm... have a mildly hacked appletv. i'll keep you posted.

update: can get growl installed, and receiving networked notifications from my macbook, but the AppleTV OS has priority on the screen so i'm afraid growl notifications are getting lost behind it.

does anyone have a binary of macyac that they could distribute? i have the yac server but there are not many details along with the macyac source files.

i love the concept, i was hoping this would make it into the .6 release.
