Re: Custom Emoticons MSN
If they use Adium, they have to add the Custom Emoticon MSN Pack themselves, otherwise they won't be able to see them. You can't "force" their Adium to show them without it.

Re: More informative Growl notifications
Personally I usually open Vienna, check everything (Which means 50+ new posts), close Vienne and open it hours later. This means I will always get tons of new posts, and thus don't have need for any informed Growl messages. I'm not sure if I get what you specify, but having 5 times 10 growl messages...

Re: Google Reader Sync
Personally I'm also going to do all GR feeds, with no local feeds, as I don't have any reason for not having all my feeds "in the sky", and I think many users will have it the same way. Maybe put a "G" on GR feeds but only if you also have local feeds? Ie. if there are no local f...

Re: delete adium account safely
I assume you mean protocol accounts, and not an 'Adium account': Adium Preferences --> Accounts --> Select them and press the minus icon. But if he knows the passwords, she should change them instead. That would be a much wiser choice, since he would otherwise be able to add them again, or use any o...

Re: 1.5b8 hijacks the NVIDIA GPU, kills battery life
Oh, and another issue that is increasingly frustrating with a lot of software out there: Please address this immediately or face the wrath of MacBook/Pro owners. That is not really the way to get help you know. It is a known bug, but noone has stepped up to fix it. You are welcome to put up a bount...

Re: Groups/Lists Missing in Facebook Chat
Is this going to be life with Adium, now? I have really been glad to have it since it brought all my various chat "accounts" together in one place, but I really like to have the different people who come and go show up in the groups I have been using. As already mentioned in the thread, g...

Re: [1.5b5]Messaging theme issue
I've seen something similar, with theme variants not loading until after you select the theme a second time. It seems to coincide with wether or not a group chat is active, ie. in the chat window. Do you see the same?

Re: contact list window in Beta 1.5b1
When you mention that it fades out, do you mean that it slides to the side then, and thus the option of "While Adium is in the background" isn't working?

Re: App background black on load; can't add accounts
Is there any output in the console when you launch Adium?
And by resetting preferences, what do you mean by that exactly?

Re: Campfire
It is out of the scope for Adium developers to implement the protocol, but if you can get the Pidgin guys to implement it in LibPurple, then it would be pretty easy to add to Adium.
For reference: CampFire API.

It is unfortunately working as intended. This is not something that we have any control over.

[Bug] Called openURL:inPreferredBrowser: with nil url.
I usually open most of my articles in an external browser. Though sometimes articles aren't opened, and I get the following in the console: 24/09/11 08.02.11 Vienna[146] Called openURL:inPreferredBrowser: with nil url. Browser type doesn't seem to matter, and I haven't come to a conclusion as to why...

Re: Shortcut for next active tab
No, because that is the whole point of the feature. But you can just set it to a combo you don't use in any other applications, for instance by using two modifier keys.
